Single-storey house extension

For this single-storey house, we built an extension on the garden side to create a large living space that opens onto the outdoors. The old veranda made way for a solid, well-insulated structure. After the foundations, the walls were built in concrete blocks and fitted with large sliding glass doors that flood the room with light. The extension was then insulated from the outside with high-performance insulation boards and finished with a white render to match the existing house. A new natural stone terrace extends the living space into the garden. The result: an extra room that is bright, energy-efficient and seamlessly integrated with the house.
