Window frame renovation

Project details

Complete renovation of the existing window frames: sanding, repair of damaged parts, filling, re-glazing putty, surface preparation and application of two coats of finishing paint. The wooden frames of the windows and French doors were first sanded back to bare wood to remove the old paint. Damaged areas were repaired, cracks filled and the glazing re-puttied, while the façade and glass were protected throughout the work. Once the surfaces were prepared, two coats of finishing paint were applied. The frames regain a deep red colour and lasting weather protection, restoring the character of the façade.
